Armada Logics Team Earns TESDA TM1 Certification to Train Next-Gen Software Developers

Macalva, Agoo, La Union—Armada Logics has just taken a significant step forward in its mission to transform Region 1 into a thriving hub for software development talent. Armada’s Instruction Team members—Rogimer Urriza, Roby Anne Galo, and Lenard Cordial—completed 33 days of rigorous training and evaluation. As a result, they earned their TESDA TM1 Certification.

On July 5, 2025, they earned the Trainers Methodology Level 1 (TM1) certification at the Provincial Training Center in Macalva, Agoo. The TESDA TM1 certification is TESDA’s gold standard in the technical-vocational field for trainer and assessor accreditation.

As part of the process, TESDA evaluators assessed them on three key skills:

In addition to this milestone, Rogimer and Roby are TESDA-certified in Programming (Java) NC III. Lenard has a Web Development NC III certification and is preparing for his Programming (Java) NC III.

By obtaining the TM1 certification, Armada Logics’ instruction team demonstrates its foundation in sound teaching methodologies and up-to-date technical expertise.

Why This Matters

Clearly, this milestone is more than just a piece of certification—it’s a catalyst for broader impact.

Scaling with Purpose

Armada Logics has long been dedicated to developing tech talents across the Philippines. We continuously upskill our internal teams, run free tech-specific training programs, and provide on-the-job learning opportunities for aspiring developers nationwide. Now, with the TESDA TM1 certification, the company can go even further. We can formally assess and certify trainees under TESDA standards and help them transition from learners to job-ready professionals.

Boosting Regional Tech Education

With this new credential, Armada Logics is actively transforming the region into a premier destination for tech learning. This milestone opens up more opportunities for aspiring developers outside Metro Manila. At the same time, it positions La Union as an authorized training ground for homegrown, job-ready software talent.

TESDA-Backed Credibility

Furthermore, Armada Logics is reaffirming its commitment to providing top-notch, industry-aligned training programs that equip students for real-world tech careers by employing TM1-certified trainers and maintaining TESDA accreditation as a training center since 2024.

The Path to Excellence

Over the course of six weeks, Armada’s Instruction Team dove deep into the core of what makes effective tech education: competency-based teaching strategies, assessment frameworks, and learner-centered curriculum design.

But what truly sets Armada Logics apart from other software development training centers is our ability to pair educational excellence with real-world industry experience.

For more than a decade, the company has been building Silicon Valley–standard software solutions from its base in La Union. We support clients across a range of industries, from startups to established powerhouses.

Among these clients is Coding Dojo, one of the longest-running US-based coding bootcamps. Armada Logics' engineers were instrumental in developing their learning platform and shaping their early curriculum—supporting the journey from MVP to successful exit.

This rare blend of hands-on industry experience and TESDA-accredited instructional expertise allows Armada Logics to deliver training that’s both practical and nationally recognized—advancing our mission to be a leading tech training provider for the future.

What’s Next?

With three new TM1-certified trainers and assessors now on board, Armada Logics is ready to scale. The company is preparing to launch more training cohorts in Region 1. These programs will offer a structured mix of

  • Technical skills in high-demand stacks (starting with Programming (Java) NC III)
  • Assessment-driven instruction aligned with TESDA standards
  • Job-ready soft skills and career placement support

Each batch, in turn, will be led by certified trainers and assessors like Rogimer, Roby, and Lenard—focused on quality, consistency, and relevance to the local and global job market.

Students can expect an immersive learning experience through live instruction, hands-on activities, real-world projects, and rigorous evaluations that prepare them for both certification and real software development roles.

The Start of a New Chapter

Armada Logics is continuously evolving. What began as in-house and community training can now be shared more broadly through TESDA-accredited programs. With official certification as a training center and three newly TM1-certified trainers, Armada is now positioned to train and formally certify the next generation of Filipino tech talent.

With our roots in innovation and our eyes on regional—and eventually national—impact, Armada Logics is building a scalable, replicable pipeline to develop top-tier Filipino software engineers, beginning in Region 1 and expanding beyond.

As for aspiring developers in Region 1?

Their future just got a lot closer.
